Just have a look on the very first lesson of O-Tech book. You will get some introductory idea.
To improve your skills, write code as much as you can. But dont be language oriented! Make your concepts crystal clear.
.NET is not much different from VB6.
If you have any problem, please paste your code here. I will InshAllah solve that for you to the mazimum extent.
